neighborhood.fyi ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the neighborhood.fyi iOS app collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.

• Location data. With your permission, the app accesses your device's location to center the map on your current position and surface neighborhood data relevant to where you are. Your location is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Device identifiers. Anonymous identifiers generated by third-party SDKs (described below) may be used to manage your subscription status and crash reports. These are not linked to your identity.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party SDKs, each with their own privacy practices:

• Mapbox. Provides interactive map rendering. Mapbox may collect tile request data in accordance with their privacy policy.
• RevenueCat. Manages in-app subscriptions and purchase validation. RevenueCat collects anonymous purchase identifiers. See their privacy policy.
• Sentry. Collects anonymized crash reports and error logs to help us fix bugs. No personally identifiable information is included in crash reports. See their privacy policy.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not store your location history on our servers.
• We do not collect contact information.

In-App Purchases

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment information. Purchase history is handled entirely by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
